Beryllium Copper (often called BeCu) is a copper alloy known for its exceptional strength, hardness, and conductivity, combined with excellent resistance to wear, fatigue, and corrosion. It’s one of the strongest copper-based alloys available.

• C17200 (Alloy 25): High strength and hardness

• C17500 / C17510: Higher conductivity with good strength

• Copper: ~97–98%

• Beryllium: ~1.8–2.0%

• Cobalt / Nickel: trace amounts

• Tensile Strength: up to ~1250 MPa

• Yield Strength: up to ~1100 MPa

• Hardness: up to ~38–44 HRC

• Elongation: ~2–5%

• Electrical Conductivity: ~20–30% IACS (higher for conductivity grades)

• Thermal Conductivity: good compared to most high-strength alloys

• Density: ~8.25 g/cm³

• Supplied as round rods in various diameters

• Conditions: solution annealed, aged (heat treated), or cold drawn

• Surface finish: mill finish, ground, or polished
