HC-22 has corrosion resistance superior to other Ni-Cr-Mo alloys including C-276, C-4 and 625. The C-22 alloy exhibits superior weldability.

ASTM B626 Hastelloy B2 pipes are welded nickel-molybdenum alloy pipes manufactured according to the ASTM B626 specification. These pipes are made from Hastelloy B2 (UNS N10665), a corrosion-resistant alloy known for its outstanding performance in reducing environments, especially against hydrochloric acid and other strong acids.
