Hastelloy C276 is a low chromium content alloy with chromium proportion up to 16% but comes with an affordable and more effective process than Hastelloy C22 pipes. Hastelloy C276 has good corrosion resistance but is not as good as C22 grade. The rest of the chemical combination is about 57% nickel, 16% molybdenum but less than 16% of chromium content only. Hastelloy C22 pipes are more resistant to oxidising media than Hastelloy C276 pipes at high temperatures.Hastelloy Pipe is suitable for applications in the chemical processing, pharmaceutical, agricultural, food, petrochemical, and power industries.Hastelloy Piping is very often specified for highly-corrosive industrial applications and frequently used in processes in which chlorides are a component.
